What Are Your Intentions for 2022

2022 is just around the corner, have you made your intentions clear for the New Year? Now is a great time to start thinking about what it is you want to achieve, manifest and do in the coming 12 months.

Now don’t overwhelm yourself, you don’t have to get it all figured out before the clock strikes midnight on December 31st, but it is a good idea to go into the new year with an idea of what it is you hope to achieve.

Love

How is your love house right now? Could it be better? Do you have the love you have always desired? If not what are you doing to nurture it and help it grow? If you’re lacking love or a specific king of love you’d like to attract, what are you doing to attract it? Are you putting yourself out there for others to meet? This could be a profile on a dating app or joining a book club. The point is, if you don’t have the love you want – what are you doing to get it? If you have a love, but it’s cooled off over the years – what are you doing to stir the embers into a flame again?

Money

What is your relationship with money like these days? Covid has taken a toll on many businesses while it has also inspired many to leave the corporate workforce and forge their own path. What are you doing to make sure you’re finances are secure in these turbulent times? This could mean meeting with a financial advisor, working on getting out of debt, opening your own business, or it could mean using some of the money you have saved to enjoy yourself.

Health

What are your plans for getting healthy this coming year? If you’re already healthy how will you continue that journey? If you need to get healthy, what does that look like? Healthy isn’t about size or the number on the scale (those they can both be good indicators) health is about eating to fuel your body, not to feed and empty soul. If it’s been a while since you had a physical make that a goal of 2022. If you’ve always wanted to be someone who could run a marathon start getting in shape to run a marathon. The Couch to 5k is a great program. Make a list of the things you want to do to get healthier and start checking them off. Healthy will make every other aspect of your life better, so make this one a priority.

Head

What are you doing for your mental health and growth? The last couple of years have been brutal on all of us. We’ve gotten more and more isolated and a lot of us have ended up on social media – which is not the best place for good mental health. Make an effort to get out of the internet and enjoy what the real world has to offer. Set a goal to read a book – one a month or a week if you have the time. Make a plan to spend time with friends and family in person rather than on Zoom. Laugh, you’re feel better with a big belly laugh than any drugs could make you feel.

However you plan to ring out the old year and celebrate the new one – setting intentions is a great way to get your head wrapped around what you need to do starting now to be where you want to be next year at this time.

Happy New Year!
